Sharon Sue Adams, 62, of Pine Grove, passed away May 17 at home. She was a daughter of Alberta Krause Witmer, Pottsville, and the late Lyman L. Witmer, Sr. Also surviving are son, Christopher Adams, Tremont; grandson, Collin; her companion, Bruce Rumpf, Pine Grove; brothers, Bert Witmer, Kevin Witmer and Lyman Witmer, Jr., all of Pine Grove; and sister, Annette Stoudt, Pottsville.

Annette L. Agresta, 65, formerly of Hershey, passed away May 20. She is survived by sister, Toni Maulfair of Millersburg; daughter, Jamie Lea of Middletown; grandsons, Jax and Tyler; nephew, Anthony (Nicole) Maulfair; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Mabel “Mae” Bicher, 82, passed away May 16 at the West Willow Rest Home, Willow Street. She was the wife of Henry S. Bicher, Jr. Mabel is also survived by sons, Kevin R. (Rachel) of Pine Grove, John E. (Nancy) of Bethel and Gerald R. Sr. (Jeanelle) of Bethel; daughters, Mary Ann Walleigh of Bethel, Mabel (Christopher) Wine of Newmanstown and Joyce E. (Donald) Weingard of Pine Grove; brother, Harry Stover of Reinholds; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Annabelle G. Bomberger, 84, passed away May 17. She was the wife of Richard A. Bomberger. Also surviving are children, Terence (Laura), Steven (Candy), Jeffrey (Elaine), Michael (Debbie), and Janine (Gerard) Whisler; grandchildren, Noelle, Mark, Sabrina, Melissa, Heather, Jaylyn, Ann, Thomas, Anton, Dora, Kristina, Douglas, Craig, Allen, Gregory; great- grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Lou, Lorraine, Grace and Cynthia.

Clyde David Bomgardner, Sr., 75, passed away May 17 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Ruth A. (Weaber) Bomgardner. Also surviving are children, Clyde D. (Lisa) Bomgardner, Jr. of Palmyra, Carl D. (Kelly) Bomgardner of Annville, Charles D. (Tara) Bomgardner of Palmyra, Carolyn D. (Jay Jr.) Cruise of Lebanon, Catherine D. (Marvin) Simmons of Lebanon; grandchildren; and brothers, Ned E. Bomgardner of Jonestown, and Leroy J. Bomgardner, Jr., James D. Bomgardner and Thomas Bomgardner, all of Annville.

Louise B. (Leibig) Broughall, 94, formerly of Rexmont and Miners Village, passed away at Spang Crest Manor in Lebanon May 6. Her husband, Edward Broughall preceded her in death. She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Charles I. Brown, 84, of Pine Grove, passed away May 19 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill East Norwegian Street. His wife, Dorothy M. Beuchler Brown, preceded him in death. Surviving are niece, Linda Venszl (Vince Kulbitsky), Pine Grove; nephews, Eric (Susan) Zerbe, New Ringgold, and Ronald Heinbach, Valley View; great-nieces and -nephews.

James H. “Pop” Brown, Sr., 85, of Pine Grove, passed away May 15 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center. Surviving are his wife, Sara E. Moyer Brown; daughters, Karen (John) Thames, and Amy (Scott) Dawson, both of Pine Grove; sons, Philip (Annette) Brown, Sr., Kevin (Virginia) Brown, James (Sherri) Brown, Jr., all of Pine Grove, and Walter (Aneta) Brown, Friedensburg; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Fisher, Reading, Mary (Richard) Martin, Mooresville, and Betty Bankert, Florida; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Richard C. Clark, Sr., 61, of Lebanon, passed away May 14 at home. He was the husband of Brenda J. Nicholas Clark. Also surviving are children, Richard C. Clark, Jr., Joseph S. Clark and Lisa M. Bare, all of Lebanon; grandchildren, Denny, Jessica, Maria, Richard III, Shane and Kiersten; great-grandchildren, Lorenzo, Destini, Layla, Logan and Averi; sister, Cathy M. Hiliana Iris Correa, infant daughter of Jannena Melson and Carlos “Mickey” Correa, passed away May 13 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill S. Jackson Street, where she was also born. Also surviving are grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Robert F. Cunningham, Sr., 75, of Schuylkill Haven, formerly of Pottsville, passed away May 14 at home. He is survived by sons, Robert F. (Angela) Cunningham, Jr., Maryland, and Christopher (Diane) Cunningham, Pottsville; daughters, Erin E. Small, Texas, and Kimberly A. Jean M. Donley, 77, passed away May 20 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Harold “Hal” F. Donley. Also surviving are sons, Michael Donley of Pottsville, David (Makathy) Donley of Enola, Brian (Stephanie) Donley of Lansdale, Edward (Mary-Kate) Donley of Lebanon; grandchildren, Matthew, Abigail, Benjamin, Meredith, Owen, Juliana, Kendall and Carly; and sister, Jeanette (Charles) Fink of Lebanon.

Francis E. Fourney, 58, of Pine Grove, passed away May 17 at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. He was a son of Mildred Miller Fourney, Lock Haven, and the late Francis E. Fourney, Sr. Francis was the husband of Kay L. Bower Fourney. Also surviving are daughters, Jessie M. McKinnon and Teri L. Scholes, both of Florida; brothers, Terry, Lock Haven, Brian, Montrose, and Dennis, Lock Haven; daughter-in-law, Rachel Dailey Fourney, Palmyra; and grandchildren, Kylie, Andrew, Laynie, Zackaree, Noah and Gavin.

Ernest E. “Ernie” Gensemer, 94, of Lebanon, passed away May 18 at his home. Surviving are his wife, Arlene E. (Mays) Gensemer; children, Dustin L. Gensemer, Gay R. Gensemer, Charles A. Gensemer; and sister, Joyce Mease.

Carl L. Helms, 92, of Annville, formerly of Williamsport, passed away at his residence May 17. He was the widower of Naomi V. Smith Helms. Carl is survived by children, Cindy (Jeffrey) Luttman of Cleona, Lana Helms of Palmyra, and Stephen (Lori) Helms of Topton; grandchildren, Kyle (Katherine), Tyler and Leanda; great-grandson, Emerson; and sister, Audrey Lessig of East Stroudsburg.

Linda D. Hoke, 70, passed away May 16 at Manor Care. She was preceded in death by husband, Randall H. Hoke. Surviving are brother, Terry Layser, Myerstown; sisters, Gloria (George IX) Meiser, Reading, Joyce Scibelli, Lebanon, Christine P. (Gary) Schnee, Richland, Robin (Robert) Randler, Richland, Dorothy Shank, Lebanon, Sheri (Vance) Smaltz, Newmanstown, Cindy Schultz, Myerstown; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

Andrew S. Hoover, 2, son of Melvin Oberholtzer Hoover and Karen Elaine Sauder Hoover, passed away May 16 at his home in Marion Twp., Berks Co. Also surviving are siblings, Karla, Glendon, Timothy, Twila and Emily; grandparents, Paul and Anna Mary Sauder of Denver, Edwin and Mary Hoover of Womelsdorf; great-grandparents, Irwin and Mary Weaver of New Holland; great-grandfather, John Oberholtzer of Richland; great- grandmother, Vera Hoover of Manheim; and stepgreat-grandmother, Barbara Weaver of Ephrata.

Michael L. Keefer, 60, passed away May 17 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown. He was the husband of Diane L. (Walmer) Keefer. Michael is also survived by sons, David G. Keefer and Steven M. Keefer, both of Cleona; sister, Judith A. (Edward M.) Wagner of Myerstown; brother, Patrick L. (Barbara) Keefer of Saugerties, NY; nieces and nephews.

Jennifer M. Kiene, 37, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away May 17 at home. She was a daughter of John Kling, Lewisberry, and Helen Lentes Kling, Pine Grove. Also surviving are her husband, Robert “Bob” Kiene; sons, Cory Kiene and Matthew Kiene, both at home; and sisters, Karen Kling, Pine Grove, and Stephanie Kling, New Ringgold.

Basil N. Klipa, 65, passed away May 13 in M.S. Hershey Medical Center ER. He is survived by his wife, Pam J. Pearl Klipa; son, Jason N. (Melissa) Klipa; daughters, Traci L. (Chad) Weaver and Allison K. (Pete) Witt, both of Palmyra; brother, Philip D. Klipa of Los Angeles, CA; and grandchildren, Matthew, Abby, Nathan, Max, Alex, Madelynn, Lilly, and Emme.

Harold Ray Lacefield, 70, of Lebanon, passed away May 14 at his residence. He is survived by children, Tiffany M. Lacefield, Jeffrey (Shelby) Stockton, Sr., and Dwyane Stockton, Sr.; grandchildren, Dominic, Miles, Aubrey, Skylar, Makendra, Jeffrey Jr., Dwayne Jr., and Alexis; brothers, Don (Diana) Lacefield and Charles (Diane) Lacefield; and daughters, Kim Hackman and Kristi Hostetter.

Harold E. Liskey, 60, of Myerstown, passed away May 16. Surviving are his wife, Robin D. (Gravel) Liskey; children, Heather Kowalski and Harold (Kimmi) Liskey, Jr.; stepson, Jesse (Kariann) Fetterhoff; siblings, Paul (Irene) Liskey, Jr., Brenda (William) Deaven, Cynthia (Daniel) Lamb, Mark (Angela) Liskey, and Faith (Virgil) Baker; grandchildren, Kayla and Jackson; and stepgrandsons, Silas and Sullivan.

Stephen Marinkov, Sr., 85, passed away May 11 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Surviving are grandchildren and extended family.

Harry E. Myrick, Sr., 85, passed away May 13 at Elmcroft Assisted Living Community. Surviving are wife, Esther P. Blimline Myrick, Lebanon; children, Debra (Lawrence) Gesler, College Place, WA, Harry E. (Elizabeth) Myrick, Jr., Leola, Karl E. Myrick, Cleona, Lori (Mark) Manley, Myerstown; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

John Brooks Ratcliffe, 60, passed away May 16. He is survived by daughters, Malisa Rutt, Kristy Pietrak and Megan Bell; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Gabriel, Joseph, Keighden, and Broderik; sister, Jayne Sweigart; and brothers, Thomas Ratcliffe and Dennis Ratcliffe.

Betty Reber, 91, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away May 19 at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg. She was the widow of Hugh W. Reber. Betty is survived by daughters, Kathleen Reber and Rebecca (Mark) McBreen, both of Schuylkill Haven, and Janice (Ron) Becker, Bethlehem; grandchildren, Jennifer, Rachel, Jessica, Mitchell and Meghan; nieces, Joann Gerber, Beverly Gates and Susan Reed; and nephew, Dale Reed.

Dr. Jacob L. Rhodes, 95, passed away May 13. He was the widower of Ruth E. Basehore Rhodes. Surviving are children, Andrea (Timothy) Salem of Wernersville, Marcia (Steven) Garcia of Camarillo, CA, Carol (Dax) Norman of Lewes, DE, William (Stephanie) Rhodes of Newark, DE; granddaughter, Victoria; grandson, Jacob; nieces and nephews.

Myrtle K. Roach, 86, of Palmyra, passed away May 17 at Countryside Christian Community. She was the wife of the late Scott C. Roach. Myrtle is survived by children, John E. (Jean) Roach of Annville, Scott A. (Diane) Roach of Lancaster, Sue Ann Adams of Fredericksburg, Rose Marie Kneasel-Colna (James) of Watsontown, Shirley Louise Roach of Lebanon, Nancy Elizabeth (Don) Spincken of Harrisburg; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchild.

Leroy H. Sampsel, Jr., 84, passed away May 20 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Doris J. Miller Sampsel. Also surviving are sisters, Joyce Ann Warrick of Centre Hall, and Nancy Elaine Miller of Cabot; nieces and nephews.

Rebecca V. Schwalm, 91, of Valley View, passed away May 15 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Schwalm. Rebecca is survived by sons, Thomas (Debbie) Schwalm and Steve Schwalm, both of Valley View; grandchildren, Jennifer, Ross, David, Katrina, Jill, Dustin, CJ and Sean; and great-grandchildren.

Helen A. Stone, 92, of Lebanon, passed away May 16 at home. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Stone, Sr. Surviving are children, Robert A. Stone of Thornhurst, Gary L. (Laura) Stone, Branchburg, NJ, and Charles R. Young, Jr., Eleanor Young, Cathy (Dennis) Michael, and Dennis (Linda) Young, all of Lebanon; grandsons, Jeremy (Sasha) and Tyler; great-grandson, Hunter; brother, James Shirk of Bunker Hill; sister, Lucille Peiffer of Lebanon; nieces and nephews.

Willys C. “Will” VanNewhyzen, 89, of Auburn, passed away May 18 at his residence. He was the husband of Ruth D. Knuth VanNewhyzen. Will is also survived by daughters, Kay (Tod) Kruse, Hoffman Estates, IL, and Jean (Steve) Gill, Torrance, CA; son, John (Karen) VanNewhyzen, Grantville; grandchildren, Emily (Matt) and Peter; great-grandchild, McKennen; sister, Twylah Wildung; and brother, Alan (Karen) Vann.

Larry J. Weidner, 69, of Bethel, passed away May 12. He was the husband of Eileen (Wampler) Weidner. Also surviving are sons, Joel of Lebanon and Scott (MaryAnn) of Nevada; granddaughters, Erika, Tori, Anna and Hailey; and sisters, Dorothy Swope and Gladys Miller.

Joyce Kauffman Wherley, 61, passed away May 19. She is survived by her husband, Richard of Annville; sons, Greg (Rachel) of Cedar City, UT and Robert of Hummelstown; sister, Karen (Al) of Baton Rouge, LA; and nephew, Albert.

John Arthur Wingle, 58, of Wayne Twp., passed away May 12 at home. He was the husband of Lucinda M. Steffie Wingle. John is also survived by daughter, Kristen Wingle; sons, Shaun Wingle and John Donton; grandchildren, Cora, Zane and Orion; sister, Rose Kochenberger; and brothers, Kenneth Wingle and Gerald Wingle.
