Anna M. Dissinger, 80, of Pine Grove, died Feb. 27 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dissinger. Surviving are sons, Ernest Schnoke Jr. and Robert Schnoke, both of Pine Grove; a sister, Dorothy Brown, Pine Grove; brothers, Guy Beuchler and Robert Beuchler, Pine Grove; and her companion, Ernest Schnoke Sr., Pine Grove.

William C. "Bill" Flynn, 67, of Tower City, died Mar. 4 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Fetterhoff Flynn. Surviving are his daughter, Anne Marie, wife of Paul H. Dimon, Tower City; his son, William E. Flynn, Perry, Ga.; grandsons, Jared and Spencer Dimon; a sister, Frances Frantz and her husband, Roy; brothers, Joseph Flynn, Edward "Ned" Flynn and Michael Flynn, all of Williamstown.

Pearl N. "Gummy" Herring, 81, formerly of Pine Grove, died Mar. 5 at Tremont Health & Rehab Center, Tremont. Preceding her in death were her husband, Earl W. Herring.  Surviving are daughters, Ina, wife of Terry Warner, Schuylkill Haven, and Karen Herring, Pine Grove; son, Karl, Pine Grove; grandchildren, Hannah Kreiser, Dr. Leah Warner, Amelia Mann, Dana Douglas, Jeremy Herring and Jacob Herring; brother, George Nagle, Schuylkill Haven; sister, Sara Brown, Georgetown, Ky.

John G. Kalbach, 52, Schuylkill Haven, died Mar. 5 at his residence. Lester D. Merwine, 91, formerly of Williamstown, died Feb. 27 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.  Surviving are his wife, Kathleen "Deen" Clouser Merwine; a daughter, Janice R. Miller and her husband, G. Dean, Harrisburg; a son, Larry D. Merwine, Mechanicsburg; a sister, Ardys Bowerman, Hershey; grandchildren, Chris, Rod and Jared Miller and Mike and Leslie Merwine.

Dr. Alexander Pianovich, 91, of Lykens, died Mar. 4 at The Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.  Survivors include his wife, Katherine Seman Pianovich; a son, Dr. Paul Pianovich, Lykens; a daughter, Susan Chominski and her husband, the Rev. Father Vladimir, Elmwood Park, Ill.; a brother, Archpriest Eugene Pianovich, Archbald; and grandchildren, Alexander Pianovich and Stephen Pianovich, both of Lykens, and Anastasia Chominski, Elmwood Park.

Arlene J. Reichert, 96, Schuylkill Haven, died Feb. 28 at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Reichert. Surviving are a son, Ralph R. Reichert Jr., Schuylkill Haven; a granddaughter, Darlene Reichert, Schuylkill Haven; a grandson, Dwayne Reichert and his wife, Treasure, Schuylkill Haven.

Mildred A. Shipe, 96, a former resident of Schuylkill Haven, died Feb. 28 at Orwigsburg Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. Burton Shipe. Surviving are a son, Thomas Shipe, Schuylkill Haven; daughters, Ellen Gross, Exeter Township, and Joanne Shipe, Birdsboro.

Ruth Beatrice Spengler, 101, formerly of Tower City, died Mar. 5 at Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph. Surviving are her son, Robert Spengler; a grandson, Brian; all of Palmyra.

Kathryn "Kay" M. Woll, 80, died Mar. 2 at ManorCare, Pottsville. Preceding her in death were her husband, Leo E., in 2005. Surviving are her daughter, Belinda Balcavage, Minersville area; a son, Edward, Auburn; grandchildren, Danielle Raczka, Jennifer Yerusavage and Ashley, Gregory and Shawn Woll; a brother, Stanley Zelusky, Florida; sisters, Marie Welgo, Cressona, Patricia Hume, Shoemakersville, and Elizabeth Callaghan, Heckscherville.

Dean R. Arndt, 69, Hershey, died March 3 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. Dean is survived by his wife, Fannie I. Aldinger Arndt; daughters, E. Susan, wife of Kenneth W. Sanders, Kendra L., wife of James L. Martin, Jr., and Ronda K. Arndt; son, Michael D. Arndt; sisters, Joan Nagle and Alice Benson.

Doris A. Balthaser, 78, died March 1 at Cedar Haven in Lebanon. She is survived by a son, Ronald L. Balthaser, Myerstown; a sister, Betty Troutman, Ligonier.

Mark Alan Daubert, 38, of Palmyra, died February 26 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was son of Marquetta (Kapp) Daubert and the late James H. Daubert. Also surviving are brothers, David J. of Palmyra, and Jonathan A. of Lebanon; a sister, Diana Daubert Capp of Danville, Wash.

Herman Charles Fortna, Jr., 57, died February 23 at Manor Care, Lebanon. Surviving are sons, Herman C. Fortna, III and Nathan Fortna, both of Gordon; daughters, Heather and Hilary Fortna, both of Gordon; his father, Herman C. Fortna, Sr. of Lebanon; brothers, John J. Fortna of Morganton, N.C., Archie R. Fortna of Charlotte, N.C., and Eric L. Fortna of Asheville, N.C.; sisters, Debra I. Kistler and Josephine A. Fortna, both of Butler, Ind., and Lori L. Joshua Matthew Gerber, 28, died March 2 in Snyder County. Josh is survived by his wife, Heather Star Miller Gerber; daughters, Payge V. Miller and Karly M. Morio, both at home; father, Dennis A. Gerber; his mother, Teressa "Tess" E. Carpenter Hartsough; brother, Adam K. Hartsough; sisters, Sarah E. Cranford, and Katherine E. Hartsough;  stepbrother, Lee A. Gary F. Hirschbock, 53, died February 26 at his residence in Lebanon. Gary was a son of Doris J. Grabe and Franklin L. Hirschbock, both of Lebanon. Also surviving are brothers, Gregory and James Hirschbock, both of Lebanon; a step-daughter, Elaine Elliott of Lebanon; and an ex-wife, Mary Hirschbock of Lebanon.

Kitty Lou Horn, 79, died March 3 in Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Charles P. Horn. Surviving are sons, Charles W. Horn of Lebanon, Dennis M. Horn, Sr. of Lebanon, and Steven L. Horn of Lebanon; brothers, Edward Miller of San Jose, Calif., and James Miller and George Miller, both of Lebanon.

Charles H. Lane, 60, Lebanon, died February 26 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn K. Lane; stepson, Justin Confer, Washington, D.C.; sisters, Mildred Bonelli of Glasgow, N.Y. and Caroline Keiser of Lebanon; brothers, Edmund P. of Findley, Ohio, and Walter Saugerties of New York.

Ardella S. Lineaweaver, 91, died March 2. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd "Pete" Lineaweaver.

Michael J. Nelligan, Sr., 53, died March 3 in the Harrisburg Hospital. He was the son of John E. and Carol A. (Miller) Nelligan of East Hanover Township.  Surviving also are his wife, Barbara (Lawrence) MillerNelligan; children, Kathleen Michelle Nelligan and Michael John Nelligan, Jr., both of East Hanover Township; sister, Linda, wife of Steve Sherlock of East Hanover Township.

Floyd W. 'Bill' Pendleton, 88, died February 26 in the Palmyra Nursing Home. Surviving are his wife, Marian (Yorty) Pendleton; daughters, Ann Pendleton and her husband, Vincent of Colorado and Sally Rushman and her husband, Michael of Vermont.

Ferne S. Saylor, 91, died March 2 in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Saylor. Surviving are daughters, Sandra Lee, wife of Wayne Miller, with whom she lived, and Carole Jean, wife of Robert Jamieson of Etters; grandchildren, Tracy, wife of Doug Shirk, Lebanon, Wendy, wife of Carl Lingle, Palmyra, and Scott Krause, Clermont, Fla.; stepgrandchildren, Susan, wife of Maynard Bertolet, Mechanicsburg, Karen, wife of Patrick Mac Adam of Mechanicsburg, Nichole, wife of Russell Wallace, Jonestown, Heidi, wife of Timothy Arnich, Fredericksburg.

Geno J. 'Snake' Simonetti, 79, formerly of Hershey, died February 27. He was preceded in death by his wife M. Dorothy Simonetti. Surviving is a daughter, Angelena M., wife of Peter F. Kitsch of Lititz; stepdaughters: Suzanne E., wife of Jim Bomgardner of Ephrata, Pamela S., wife of Ron Stefanacci of Sterling, Va., and Gina M., wife of Mike Devlin of Ephrata; stepsons, Tommy Wenger of Sterling, Va., and Scott E. Wenger, of Ephrata; grandchildren including grandson, Nickolas J. Earhart; and a sister, Lucy M. Heisey of Hershey.

Edith M. Smith, 75, died March 3 in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Franklin L. Smith, Sr. She is survived by children, Donald L., S.C., Frank L., Jr., Jonestown, Rose M., wife of Thomas Kreiser, Jonestown, Brenda J. Nauman, Pine Grove, Judy A., wife of George Adams, Jonestown; and a sister, Eva Doll, Lebanon.

Donald C. Snyder, 68, died February 27 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Susan Speece Snyder. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Tina, wife of Robert Leininger of Lebanon, and Patty Ann Snyder of Lebanon; son, Gary Snyder of Lebanon; stepdaughter, Jackie, wife of Bill Frazier of Palmyra; grandchildren, Nicole Geesey, Mindi Leininger, Mandi Leininger, Dylan Leininger, and Megan Frazier; sister, Linda, wife of the late Pete Pickleman.

Elizabeth L. 'Betty' Spangler, 89, Cornwall Manor, died March 1 at the home. Surviving are sisters, Joyce, spouse of William Weik, Louise Weaver, and Josephine, spouse of Ralph Bomberger.

Grace A. Stick, 93, died February 28 at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra. She was the wife of the late John Stick. She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne A., wife of Roger R. Hauck of Bethel Twp., and Barbara Winter of Albuquerque, N.M.; and grandchildren, Michael Boyer, Linda (Dave) Pannebecker, Roger M. Hauck and Lori (Clifford) Funck.

Connie J. Stickler, 45, Lebanon, died March 2 in the Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of Robert A. Stickler. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughter, Ashley K. Stickler at home; son, Ethan R. Stickler at home; brother, James R. Mease, Jr. of Lebanon; sister, Lorri Mease of Plymouth, Mass.

Bertram B. Stroud, 85, died Febraury 28 in ManorCare, Lebanon. He was the husband of the late Mary Jane Reppert Stroud. He is survived by a daughter, Nancy J., wife of Barry Shoop, Cornwall; son, Bertram C. Stroud, Cornwall; grandchildren, Brian Shoop and Nicole Kepley; and brothers, Carl Stroud, Florida, and Richard Stroud, Oregon.

Verna K. Yiengst, 92, died March 3 at Hearthstone Manor, Lebanon. She was the last of her immediate familhy.

Raymond Kneasel Zimmerman, 78, formerly of Annville and Lebanon, died March 2 at Holy Spirit Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Ruth N. (Bressler) Zimmerman; sons, Stephen F. Zimmerman of Lebanon and Mark R. Zimmerman of Palmyra; stepchildren, Sandra L. Eakin of New Cumberland and Alan Myer of Dillsburg.

Nancy Marie Christ, 72, died March 4 in her Lebanon residence. She was the wife of the late Harvey F. Christ, Sr. Surviving are children, Harvey F. Christ, Jr. of Walla Walla, Wash., Audrey M., wife of Nelson Smith of Myerstown, Crystal A. Zearfoss of Annville, Edward L. Christ of Annville, and Tammy S. Christ of Lebanon; sisters, Ruth Ann Wanamaker of Lebanon, and Jacqueline, wife of Ronald Fisher of Lancaster; brothers, Neil Wolfe of Mt. Zion, John Wolfe of Bunker Hill, William Wolfe of Annville, and Gordon Wolfe of Lickdale.

Kenneth E. Rohrer, 52, Newmanstown,  died March 4 in the Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Wanda J. Houck Rohrer and a son of Robert K. Rohrer and wife, Ruth of Delaware, and the late Nancy I. Beale Rohrer. Surviving also are children, Melissa L., wife of Scott L. Moyer of Schaefferstown, and John A. Rohrer of Myerstown; grandchildren, Isabel F. Moyer, Chase A. Rohrer, and Emily E. Rohrer; sisters, Barbara, wife of Herbert Graham of Columbia, and Sue Rohrer of Mountville; and brothers, Marc Rohrer of Lancaster, and J. Todd Rohrer of Manheim.

Evelyn M. "Lynn" Yocum, 98, Debary, FL, died on March 3 at her home. Surviving are son, Michael D. Yocum of Debary, Fla.; daughter, Rozellen, spouse of the late Ross Saunders of Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada; sister, Roumaine, spouse of the late Russell S. Peiffer of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by husband, Clarence L. Yocum.

Marshall C. Long, 86, died March at his home in Mt. Aetna. He was the husband of Betty J. Seltzer Long. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Valerie J., wife of John C. Zimmerman of Mt. Aetna; a brother, S. Joseph Heiser of Schaefferstown; grandchildren, John C. Zimmerman, II, Angela S., wife of Mike Boyarsky, Joseph C. Zimmerman, Wayne "Casey" Long and Gisela, and Chad M. Long.

Dr. Theodore K. Long, 96, died March 6 in Spang Crest Manor, Lebanon. He was the husband of the late Velma Sommers Long. Surviving are sons, Theodore K. Long, Jr. of Allentown, Attorney Thomas S. Long of Lebanon; a daughter, Betsy L. Rebol of Atlanta, Ga.

Richard G. "Pap" Schott Jr., died March 5 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Dolores M. Boltz Schott. Surviving are his current wife, Pat L.
