Ruth M. "Dolly" Jones, Pottsville, died July 21 at Rest Haven nursing home, Schuylkill Haven. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Jones Jr. Surviving are a daughter, Lee Ann Freiler, wife of Donald.

Alice T. Ladden, 85, of Minersville, died July 22 at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Ladden. Surviving are daughters, Allyson Ladden, Deer Lake, and Diane, wife of Anthony Urban, Ashland.

Warren N. Miller Jr., 51, Williamstown, died July 22 at his home after a brief illness. He was a son of Emily Underkoffler Miller-Lucas, Lykens, and the late Warren N. Miller Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Buggy Miller. Surviving also are his sons, Warren III and Brendan J., both at home; brothers, Wayne I. Miller, N.C., and Steven D. Miller, Lykens.

Andrew J. "Pukie" Pukas, 57, of Minersville, died July 20 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Surviving are his wife, the former Ann Marie Gahres; a son, Adam, Minersville; a daughter, Carol, Minersville; a brother, Joseph, Alexandria, Va.; sisters, Anna Marie Wehausen, Temple Hills, Md., Georgine Denham, Brookfield, Wis., and Joyce Pukas, Alexandria, Va.

Clarence R. "Popeye" Schaeffer, 94, of Pine Grove, died July 23 at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street, Pottsville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roma D'Agostino Schaeffer.  Surviving are sons, David and Franklin Schaeffer, both of Pine Grove; daughters, Barbara Daub, Lebanon, Helen Weikel, June Guidas, Darlene Felty and Joann Wenrich, all of Pine Grove; a brother, William Schaeffer; and sisters, Minneo Yorty, Gertrude Brown and Dolly DuBois, all of Pine Grove.

Regina S. Stoyer, 97, of Schuylkill Haven, died July 19 at Lancaster Hospice, Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry F. Stoyer. Surviving are grandchildren, Theodore R. Moyer III, Todd Moyer, Jean, wife of Fred Townsead, all of Lancaster, Donna Moyer, Daytona Beach, Fla., Timothy Moyer, Orlando, Fla., Carol, wife of Tom Miller, Danville, Joel Stoyer, Schuylkill Haven, Henry Stoyer, Georgia, Barb Stoyer, Tremont.

Olive A. Underkoffler, 92, Williamstown, died July 21 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen I. Surviving are her son, Glen E. "John", Lykens; a grandson, Jeffrey Underkoffler, Lykens; a granddaughter, Amanda Hawk, Bloomsburg; a brother, Ernest Klock, Trevorton; a sister, Violet Trythall, Spring City.

Robert H. Williams, 70, of Enola, formerly of Donaldson, died at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Surviving are his wife, Kay Y. Williams; his children, Todd Williams, Connecticut, and Tracy Shank and her husband, Brian, and Tricia Diehl and her husband, Brian, all of Enola; grandchildren, Adrienne, Mallory, Kyle, Timothy, Adam, Benjamin, Abby and Adam; a brother, Lamar Williams, Tower City; a sister, Carol Seiger, Pine Grove.

Eva P. Zerbe, 82, of Hegins, formerly of Tremont, died July 22 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center. Surviving is a sister, Mae Kocher, Tremont.

Mary Lou Brumit, 78, formerly of Cressona, died July 23 at Broad Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was the widow of Paul R. Brumit. She is survived by daughters, Kathleen, wife of George Minrod, New Philadelphia, and Teresa Brumit and companion, Edward Lecher, Saint Clair; sisters, Betty Tellup, Cressona, and Jean Krammes, Schuylkill Haven.

Leah I. Heffner-Dewald, 91, Cressona, died July 24 at home. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William J. Heffner, and her second husband, Clarence P. Dewald. Surviving are a son, Theodore "Ted" H, Pottsville; a daughter, Nancy Moyer, Orwigsburg; a stepson, Ronald A. Dewald, Schuylkill Haven; stepbrothers, Adam Fisher, Dover, Del., and William Fisher, Hershey.

Carl R. "Buster" "Crab" Albert, 62, died July 22 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was the son of Lorraine Weigley Albert of Bellegrove and the late Raymond "Tucker" Albert. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Doug C. Albert of Jonestown; daughter, Carla M., wife of Mike Henry of Lebanon; brothers, Barry Albert of Bellegrove and Brian Albert of Salisbury, Md.; grandchildren, Tony Ebersole, Megan Wertz, Lucas Henry, Tyler Albert, and Dominic Henry.

Mary B. Reed Ames, 91, died July 19 at her home in Columbia Cottage. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Ames. Mary is survived by sons, William E. Ames, Jr., of Annville, and Wesley E. Ames, of Hummelstown;  daughters, Winnona E. Brightbill and her companion, Albert Glasby of Berwick, and Wanda E. Hebert, wife of Raymond R. of Palmyra; grandchildren, Paul A. Lucas, Peter A. Lucas, Audra L. Doherty, Douglas R. Cheyney, Mark M. Cheyney, Shelley M. McCloskey, Suzanne M. Williams, Samantha R. Nancy A. Basehore, 70, died July 24 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of William R. Basehore. Also surviving are daughters, Debra J. D'Aurelio, Annville, and Lori A. wife of Craig Smith, Palmyra; grandchildren, Owen Smith, Rebecca Smith, Kristen D'Aurelio, and Tyler Talhelm.

Lucy M. Bender, 91, formerly of Jonestown, died July 24 at the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harry J. Bender. Surviving are daughters, Kay A. wife of Ron Black of Whiting, N.J., Barbara J. wife of David E. Myers of Villa Rica, GA., and Wendy M. wife of Dennis Groh of Jonestown.

Pauline Kathryn (Putt) Ehrhart Benson, 91, formerly of Palmyra, died July 15 at the Harrisburg Hospital. She was predeceased by her husbands, Lester W. Ehrhart and Lenus C. Benson. She is survived by a son, Barry L. Ehrhart, Sr. of Palmyra; a daughter, Sallieann E. Ehrhart of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Barry L. Ehrhart, Jr., Terri Shields and husband, Tom, and Todd Ehrhart, all of Palmyra; sisters, Mabel Speicher of Robesonia, Marian Hummel of Cornwall, Norma Plank of Wyomissing, and Anna Mae Kiscadden of Robesonia.

Evelyn M. "India" Bodden, 54, died July 19. She was the wife of John Bordash, Jr. and a daughter of Carmen Dolores Jusino (Rodriguez) of Lebanon and the late Adrian Rodriguez. Surviving also are sisters, Carmen Albright and Sandra Rivera.

Samuel B. 'Brick' Boughter, 85, died  July 15 at the VA Medical Center.  Surviving are wife, Elva M. Boughter (nee Wagner) of Lebanon; daughters Sandra K. spouse of David Johnston, Jonestown, Diane spouse of Allen Beamesderfer, Lebanon, Brenda spouse of Ron Fratini, Lebanon; grandchildren, Sandra spouse of Jonathan Cogan, David Johnston, Christopher Fratini, Mandi Fratini, Heather Beamesderfer.

Gloria J. Boyer, 78, died July 19 in her residence. She was the wife of Richard E. Boyer. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Glenn R. Boyer of Elizabethtown; daughter, Jody wife of Emerson Paul of Reamstown; brothers, Kenneth Bicksler of Bethel, Ray Bicksler of Womelsdorf, and T. John Bicksler of Richland; a sister, Sophie wife of Richard Light of Fredericksburg, grandchildren, Derek Boyer, Darla Boyer and Matthew Paul.

Larry J. Childress, 55, died Monday, July 19 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Faye L. Wagner Childress. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a brother, Bruce, and sister, Sharon.

George S. Cornelius, 62, died July 22 at his home. He was the husband of Debra (Edris-Palkovic) Cornelius. Also surviving are daughters, Sherry Cornelius of McConnellstown, Lacy Cornelius of Mapleton, and Tally, wife of Timothy Trent of Morristown, Tenn.; stepsons, Jason Palkovic of New Hartford, N.Y., and Jeremy Palkovic, of Rome, N.Y.;  grandchildren, Christopher, Madilynn, Abigail, and Stephanie; and sister, Dorothy, wife of James Matthews of Lewistown.

Chief Warrant Officer, Dean Donald Deibler, USMC (retired), 85, died July 21 at his daughter's home. He was the husband of the late Agnes C. (Massar) Deibler. He is survived by children, Terrence C. Deibler of Forksville, Dean T. Deibler of Boothwyn, Ann Marie, wife of Edward Smith of Lebanon, Steven A. Deibler of Lebanon, and Richard K. Deibler of Pine Grove; grandchildren, Joe, Jeremy, Josh, Greg, Dan, Lauren, Melissa, and Angela.

David H. Early, 87, died July 24 at Spring Creek Health & Rehabilitation in Harrisburg. He was the husband of Mildred C. Hoffa Early. Also surviving are sons, Timothy D. Early of Middletown and Luther P. Early of Annville; and a brother, Lloyd R. Early of Lebanon.

Roger L. Engle, 90, of Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, Manheim, died July 8 at Hospice of Lancaster County, Mount Joy. He was the husband of Margaret M. (Miller) Engle of Manheim. Surviving also are a son, James R. Sr. of Manheim.

A. Joyce Folk, 79, died June 26 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. She was the widow of Daniel Folk. Surviving are sons, Michael Folk of Annville, and Timothy Folk of Enola; daughters, Bonita Walsh of Lebanon and Gail Friday of Marietta; sister, Ida Mae Geib of Lebanon.

J. Lloyd Mullen, 85, died July 22 in the Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lancaster. Mr. Mullen was the husband of the late Deane (Horrocks) Mullen. Surviving are a son, Robert L. Mullen of Dayville, Conn.; grandchildren, Zachary Mullen, Amber Moyer, and Matthew Mullen; brother, Claude Collins of Philadelphia; and his friend and companion, Peggy Reever of York.

Ruth E. Getz, 95, died on Sunday, July 18 in Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late George W. Sholly. Ruth is survived by her son, Edward G. Getz, Lebanon; daughters, Lucy E. wife of Lester K. Steiner Sr., Lebanon; Linda J. wife of Thomas L. Van Brunt, Lebanon.

Michael S. Gristick, III, 42, died July 15. He was a son of Michael Gristick, Jr. of Fredericksburg, and Marge, wife of William Shutter, of Cornwall. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a stepsister, Michelle Leisher of California; stepbrothers, David Leffler of Wyomissing, and William Jr., of Fredericksburg.

Patricia Ann (Bordlemay) Harnish, 63, died July 19 at The Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. She was a daughter of Annie C. (Fake) Bordlemay and the late James L. Bordlemay. Preceding her in death was her husband Clair F. Harnish. Surviving are daughter, Angela A. Sears and husband, David of Lebanon; a grandson, Jason J. Marr of Lebanon; sisters, Karen J. Longenecker and husband, Robert M., Sr. of Palmyra and Cathy A. Pelino and husband, Dominic A. of Hummelstown.

Catharine T. Hartman, 96, died July 19 at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Hartman. She is survived by children, Mary Ann, wife of William Fields, Joseph T. Hartman, Patricia M., wife of Joseph Noll, Lawrence A. Hartman, Thomas P. Hartman, and Kathleen D., wife of Ellwood Smith, all of Lebanon.

Warren A. Alleman, Jr., 79, died July 22. He was the husband of Dolores Coble Alleman. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children, W. Stephen Alleman of Elizabethtown, Susan A. (Frank) Mars of McLean, Va., Michael I. (Megan) Alleman of Lancaster, and Carol M. Alleman of Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Ruth (William) Wise of Palmyra and Sandra (Karl) Miller of Hershey.

Ralph R. Kline, 87, died July 24 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Lola J. (Line) Kline. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Jeanne, wife of Robert Maldonado of Palmyra, PA, Karen Porterfield of Burleson, Texas and Janelle, wife of Wade Salem of Myerstown; son, Paul Kline of Myerstown.

The Rev. Dr. Harold C. Koch, 103, Cornwall Manor, died July 23 in the Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Violet Berger Koch. He is survived by a sister, Elizabeth S. Koch, Newton.

Josephine Leonard, 76, Reading, died July 16 in her residence. She was the wife of the late John L. Leonard, Sr. She is survived by children, Nancy A., wife of Randy L. Condran, Lebanon; Lyle H. Leonard and John L. Leonard, Jr., both of Reading; Harry B. Leonard, Lebanon; granddaughters, Tonya Hess and Amanda Lafty both of Lebanon; sister, Rose M. Keener of Lebanon.

MaryAnne Shade Lutz, 68, Hummelstown, died July 22 in the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. MaryAnne was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Lutz. She was the daughter of Mary E. (Betty) Rupp Shade of Hummelstown and the late Harold Shade. She is survived by son, Robert J. Lutz, of Hummelstown; daughters, Barbara A. Eckenrod, wife of Fred A. of Gaffney, S.C., and Diane S. Grumbine, wife of Gary W. of Palmyra; grandchildren, Amber M. Eckenrod of Manassas, Va., MA3 Dustin M. Eckenrod of Rota, Spain, Brooke E. Lutz, Pine Grove, Aurora J. Lutz of Pine Grove, Joleen D. Juana Paulino Munoz, 64, Lebanon, died July 20 in her residence. She was a daughter of Juanita Munoz Velazquez of Lebanon and the late Eusebio Padillas.  Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a son, Gilberto Velez of Lebanon; brothers, Cesar, of Puerto Rico, William Padillas, and Valentine Padillas, both of Lebanon; sister, Carmen Hernandez of Maryland; and her partner, Luz Cruz.

Ammon K. Peiffer Sr., 76, Lebanon, died July 24 at his home. He was the husband of Martha Kreider Peiffer. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters, Marilyn wife of Robert Tyson of Lebanon, Carolyn Koehler of Lebanon, Kathleen wife of Lynn Ziegler of Schaefferstown, Donna wife of Leon Ziegler of Myerstown, Heidi wife of Barry Bingeman of Lebanon, Brenda wife of Allen Balmer of Lebanon and Lisa wife of Dave Ayers of Annville; a son Ammon Peiffer, Jr. of Lebanon; sisters Arlene Mase of Hershey and Linda Eckenrode of Lebanon.

Michael Posey, 52, died July 19 in South Londonderry Township. He was the son of Harold T. Posey and wife, Theresa of Jonestown, and Ellen Weidman Royer of Palmyra. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a son, Jed Posey of Palmyra; a daughter, Megan Posey of Palmyra; a stepson, Bryan Hetrick of New Jersey; a stepdaughter, Katie Hetrick of Lancaster; brothers, Edward Posey of Coudersport, and Fred Angelo of Hershey; sister, Rebecca, wife of Harold Lanvater of Cleona.

Isabelle M. Resnick, 82, Boca Raton, Fla., died July 22 in the Menorah House in Boca Raton. She was the wife of Sydney Resnick, Fla. In addition to her husband she is survived by son, Thomas Bernstein, Jonestown; grandsons, Damien and Alexander; sister, Faye Weil, Boston; nieces, Diane Griffiths, Joan Gadon, Simone Weil.

Rachel A. Sears, 72, died July 18 at home. She was the widow of Walter E. Sears. Surviving are her sons, Barry D. Sears of Lebanon and Mitchell E. Sears of Etters; siblings, Hazel Prange of Kirkwood and Lee Wells of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Andrew Sears, Melissa Sears, Nathan Sears, Michael Sears, and Jonathan Sears.

Paul W. Shartle, 73, died July 18 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Tamara Rahalewiez Shartle. He is survived by children, Bonni, wife of Mike Keane of Palm Springs, Calif., and Wes Shartle of Adrian, Mich.; grandchildren, Chelsea Shartle, Austin Shartle, Spencer Keane, and Riley Keane; sisters, Lula, wife of Griffith Weik of Lebanon, Verna, wife of Robert Ebright of Myerstown, and Pauline, wife of Allen Sattazahn of Lebanon; brothers, William J. Doris Shutter, 91, formerly of Lebanon, died July 11. She was the wife of the late Richard Shutter. She is survived by her sons, Michael Shutter of Lebanon,  Richard L. Shutter Jr. of Hamburg, and Warren Shutter of Lebanon; daughters, Anna Miller wife of Ralph Miller Fl and Lilly Cooper, wife of David Cooper, both of Port Charlotte Fla.

John J. Sieber, Jr., 62, died July 16 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Nancy L. Dell Sieber and the son of Marie Ethel Kaiser Sieber of Haskell, N.J., and the late John J. Sieber, Sr. Surviving also are a son, John Sieber of Clearfield, Fla.; daughters, Laura Glenfell of Mont., Natalie Martz at home, and Cindy wife of Lee Jones of Lebanon.; brothers, Ed Sieber and Anthony Sieber; and sister Helen Dodogne, all of N.J.

Arthur J. Troutman, 85, died Tuesday, July 20 at Manor Care Health Services-Dallastown. He was the husband of Arlene K. (Zellers) Troutman. Also surviving are a daughter, Donna M. Kile of Dover; a son, James J. Troutman of Philadelphia; grandson, Kevin D. Kile of Dover; a brother, Curtis Troutman of Annville.

Earl W. Wagner, 79, died July 22 at Stone Ridge Albright Campus Myerstown. He was the husband of the late Shirley R. Wagner. He is survived by a daughter, Toni Boltz of Cleona; granddaughter, Stacia Boltz; and sister, Jane C. Wagner Demler of Lebanon.

Marian L. Wagner, 87, died on July 21 at Cedar Haven. Surviving are nephews, Ronald Rhen, Palmyra, Dennis Rhen, Camp Hill, Thomas Rhen, Lebanon, Neil Rhen, Lebanon; niece, Annette Edwards, Elizabethtown; friend Ernestine Fenner, Lebanon. She was preceded in death by husband Donald A. Wagner.

Elva B. Zuck, 84, of StoneRidge Village, Myerstown died July 21at the home of her daughter. She was the widow of Galen W. Zuck. She is survived by daughters, Lorraine H. wife of the late Fred E. Keller of Myerstown with whom she resided, Louella H. wife of James G. Burkholder of Myerstown, Lucile H. Burkholder of Lititz, Elaine H. Peffer Chaney wife of John Chaney of Saltillo, Tennessee, Carolyn H. wife of Thomas A. Harris of Hereford, Arizona, Faye H.
