Shirley A. Armstrong, 75, of Myerstown passed away April 27, in Penn State Health, St. Joseph. She was the widow of Robert W. Armstrong. Survivors include her children, Kevin S. Armstrong, husband of Susan of Mohrsville, Tammy L. Huff, wife of Vincent of Newmanstown, Wendy D. Lorah, widow of Jeffrey G., Sr. of Myerstown, Linda K. Armstrong of Reading, Robert P. Armstrong of Leesport; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; and her sister, Marion Nagle of Reading.

Ann R. Bartol, 85, of Lebanon passed away April 25, at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Richard M. Bartol. She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia A. Scholl; grandchildren, Emily Worhach, wife of Michael, Mark Scholl, fiancé of Sarah William, and Jacob Keneagy; a great-granddaughter, Caitlyn Worhach; a brother, John Antalek; a sister, Marie Kaut; a niece, Elaine Padouani, wife of Samuel; as well as several other nieces and nephews.

Robert Charles Basselgia, 75, of Lebanon passed away at his home on April 26. Robert is survived by his wife, Sandra Ruhl Basselgia; his children, Robert Basselgia II, Mark Basselgia and wife, Nancy, Wendy Viramontes, Anthony Basselgia and wife, Nicole, and Christopher Basselgia; his grandchildren; and great- grandchildren; his siblings, William Basselgia and wife, Alice, Bruce Basselgia, Lynn Basselgia and wife, Rose, Nell Kline and husband, Glenn, and Sally Seward; and many nieces and nephews and close friends.

June Anna G. Berger, 76, of Annville passed away April 23, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Henry M. Berger. Also surviving are sons, Johan Erick Berger of Cornwall, Ross Anthony Berger of Camp Hill; a brother, Robert Giannelli, Sr. of Erie; and nieces and nephews.

Brian C. Bernard, 57, of Cornwall, passed away April 20, at his residence. Brian was a son of Clair and Theresa (Snyder) Bernard. He is also survived by siblings, Karen Parpagene-Shamenek, wife of Louis; Elizabeth Rupp, wife of Mark; Marilyn White, wife of Thomas; Alan Bernard; Marie Bernard, wife of Annie Hine; Kevin Bernard, husband of Michelle, and Keith Bernard, husband of Kristie; nephews, Austin Rupp, Travis Rupp, Matthew White, Andrew White, Ryan Parpagene, Colby Bernard, Brady Bernard, Thomas Bernard and Cameron Bernard; nieces, Meredith Rupp and Lilly Bernard.

Helen M. Bixler, 80, of Hegins, passed away May 1 at Schuylkill Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer F. Bixler. She is survived by sons, Craig A. Bixler, Schuylkill Haven, Clark A. Bixler and Clayton A. Bixler, both of York; daughters, Pamela J. Kline and her husband, Jeff, Hegins, and Polly J. Smith and her husband, Chad, Cressona; grandsons, Justin Smith, Jonathan Kline and Andrew Bixler; granddaughters, Jacqueline Kline, Kaila Smith, Sophia Smith and Isabella Smith; nieces and nephews.

Joanne A. Canovas, 78, of Palmyra passed away April 27, at home. She was the widow of Lester J. Canovas. Surviving are her daughter, Pamela A., wife of James Toomey of Annapolis, Md.; son, Douglas H., husband of Maria Canovas of Redwood City, Calif.; sisters, Kathryn, wife of Timothy Lutz of Placentia, Calif., and Louise, wife of Russel VanValkenburgh of Brea, Calif.; and grandchildren, Allie and Connor Toomey and Sam Canovas.

Kristopher John Conforti, 54, of Palmyra passed away April 29, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Margaret A. (Gallagher) Conforti. He was the won of Francis John and Grace Mary (Torrisi) Conforti. He is survived by a son, William Gallagher and wife, Stephanie of Harrisburg; a daughter, Jennifer Schengrund and husband, Kevin of Hershey; grandchildren, Molly Gallagher, and Connor, Owen, and Morgan Schengrund; brothers, Kevin Conforti of Scranton, Keith Conforti and wife, Karen of New York, and Kip Conforti and wife, Andrea of Scranton; and several nieces and nephews.

Delphine Mae Copenhaver, 72, of Manheim passed away April 29, at home. She is survived children, Patricia A. Rutter of Houston, Texas, Richard E., husband of Michele Rutter of Lebanon, Jon E. Rutter of Lebanon, Judith M., wife of John Gehman of Myerstown, Tim A., husband of Heather Rutter of Lebanon, Dennis J. Verling L. Darkes, 84, of Lebanon passed away May 1, in Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the husband of Nancy A. Brightbill Darkes. Also surviving are daughters, Patti wife of George Gress of Lebanon, Joy Darkes of Lebanon, Kathy wife of Chris Copenhaver of Sinking Springs; and a grandson, Adam Gress husband of Lindsay Reichard.

Michael Elo, 54, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away April 24 at Orwigsburg Center-Genesis Healthcare, Orwigsburg. He was a son of George Elo and the late Helen V. McGowan Elo. Also surviving are daughters, Ashley Zerbe, Pine Grove, Angel Christ, Pottsville, and Cameron Elo, Tremont; a son, Michael Xavier Elo, Tremont; grandchildren; brothers, George Andrew Elo, Schuylkill Haven, James Elo, Cinnaminson, N.J., Mark Elo, North Carolina, and Joseph A. Minerva M. Ensminger, 93, of Palmyra passed away April 29. Surviving are her daughters, Deborah Simmons, Donna Root and Amy Kreiss; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Gerald R. Fahler, 75, of Bunker Hill passed away April 25, at his home. He was the husband of Ernestine M. Light Fahler. He is also survived by his sons, Eric G. and his wife, Penny Loy Fahler of Lebanon and Kevin R. and his wife, Heidi Grantz Fahler of Lebanon; brother, Richard Fahler of Jonesotwn; sister, Faye Fahler of Jonestown; grandchildren, Katelyn, Jennifer, Mackenzie, Amy and Dylan; and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara J. Fiorentino, 63, of Lebanon passed away April 20, at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Elwood J. “Skoot” Kelley, 83, of Annville passed away at his residence on April 29. He was the husband of Shirley Kelley. Donald R. Kreiser, 70, of Myerstown passed away April 25, at ManorCare, Lebanon. Donald is survived by his sister, Judy A. Moore of Wilmington, N.C.; a niece, Emily Gill; and nephews, David and Donald Gill. He is also survived by many great-nephews.

Robert M. Rothgaber, 52, of Lebanon passed away April 26, at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Jami S. (Dasher) Rothgaber. He is also survived by a daughter, Christie Smith; grandchildren, Kyle, Jr. and Andrew Smith; sisters, Michelle Houtz, Sue Redding, Lori Habart, and Brenda Rothgaber; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Richard W. Sattazahn, 84, of Grantville passed away April 23, in his home. Surviving are his wife, Rena J. (Kline) Sattazahn; daughters, Brenda Frye and husband Larry of Hummelstown and Pamela Zerphy and husband Gregory of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Seth Frye and wife Megan, Sarah Zerphy and Christina Frye; and great-grandchildren, Jordan and Alexis Frye.

Byrl G. Spitler, 90, of Womelsdorf, passed away April 24 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading. He was the husband of Pearl J. (Brown) Spitler. Byrl is also survived by sister, Arlene Gassert, of Lebanon; nieces and nephews.

Mervin H. Strominger, Jr., 75, formerly of Campbelltown, passed away April 24, in the Orangeville Health & Rehabilitation Center. Mervin is survived by his companion, Betty M. Reimard; daughters, Amanda S. Courtright wife of Ryan L. of Greentown, and Debbie S. Peterson wife of Terry E. of Lebanon; grandsons, Logan Courtright, Luke Courtright and Steven Peterson husband of Megan; his surrogate children, William Reimard and Kimberly Coolbaugh wife of Ronald, both of Benton, and their children, Shannon Biichle, Shane Biichle, and William Reimard; sister, Shirley J. Ralph L. Troutman, 97, of Tower City, passed away May 1 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Troutman. Surviving are daughters, Joan (James) Dinger, Hummelstown, and Beverly Lenker, Tower City; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter.

Michael L. Wright, 62, of Manheim passed away April 24, at Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Diane K. Boyer Wright. He is also survived by a daughter, Heather J., wife of Nathan B. Oller, and their daughters, Hailey and Dakota, of Elizabethtown; and siblings, Donna Howard of Manheim and Victoria Smith.

Elmer C. Zimmerman, 90, of Womelsdorf, passed away April 28 at StoneRidge Towne Centre, Myerstown. He was the husband of May E. (Fittery) Zimmerman. Elmer is also survived by sons, Drew, husband of Donna Zimmerman, of Myerstown, Randolph, husband of Mary Zimmerman, of Tucson, AZ; granddaughter, Kelly, wife of Ryan Perkins; grandsons, Kyle, husband of Katelynn Zimmerman, and Cody Zimmerman; great-granddaughters, Mckenna, Mackenzie, and Fiona Perkins; great-grandsons, Finnian Perkins, and Noah and Gunner Zimmerman; nieces and nephews.

Kathleen M. Zombro, 81, of Jonestown passed away April 26, at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late James E. Zombro. Kathleen is survived by a daughter, Beverly Smith, companion of Philip Gulliver of Jonestown; sons, Daniel, husband of Torry Zombro of Lebanon, and Thomas, husband of Kate Zombro of Myerstown; son-in-law, Herbert Hoffman of Jonestown; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and brother, Henry W. Smith of Lebanon.
