Lee C. Rentschler, 74, of Fredericksburg died Wednesday, October 1 at his residence. He was the husband of Patricia A. Fernsler Rentschler. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Kim R. Rentschler of Lebanon, and Kevin L. Rentschler of Lebanon; daughters, Donna J., wife of Roger Soliday of Jonestown, and Darlene K., wife of Steven Stoltz of Richland; grandchildren, William and Derek Rentschler, Neil Wolfe II, Monica Griffe, Curtis Rentschler, Roger Soliday, Brandon Soliday, Joshua, Jeremy and Leah Stoltz.
Donald Lee Thomas Sr., 58, of Lebanon died Wednesday, October 1 the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Joan C. Drinkwater Thomas and the son of Mary Elizabeth Lahr Thomas of Pittston and the late Reuben Thomas. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a son, Donald Lee Thomas Jr. of Lebanon; daughters, Ann Marie, wife of Joseph Monk of Lebanon, and Lisa Dawn, wife of Travis Steiner of Lebanon; grandchildren, Brock and Chloe Monk and Elijah Thomas; a brother, Ronald Thomas of California; and sisters, Patricia, wife of Ted Yanchuleff of Harrisburg, and Nancy, wife of Ernest Coassolo of Pittston.
William E. Blessing, 80, of Brecknock Township died on October 1 at the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Jean L. (Howard) Blessing. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Albert W. Blessing, John J. Blessing, William I. Blessing, all three of Brecknock Township; grandchildren, Jenny, Matthew and Amy; sisters Anna (Blessing) Wolf of Palmyra, Catherine (Blessing) Mazzoni of Cornwall.
Elizabeth M. DeAngelo, 91, Pottsville, died Wednesday, October 1 at the Schuylkill Medical Center, Pottsville. She was the wife of the late Woodrow DeAngelo. Surviving are children, Audrey Helen, wife of James R. Bender of Orwigsburg and Joseph B. Sr., wife of Tassy DeAngelo of Bernville; grandchildren, Audrey M. Smith, Amy Jarema, Beth A. Bennecoff, Dr. James J. Bender, Thomas J. Bender, Joseph DeAngelo, and J.B. DeAngelo.
Mildred M. Firestine, 91, of Richland, died Wednesday, October 1 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of Nelson Firestine. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Shirley, wife of Allan Holm of Lancaster; and a son, Richard Firestine of Jackson, Tennessee.
Helen D. Nester, 76, died Thurs., Oct. 2 at Rest Haven, Schuylkill Haven. She is survived by a daughter, Lucille Sonon, Auburn; a sister, Myrle Geisinger, Alburtis; grandchildren, Lauren Homewood and Nicholas Sonon.
Bertram G. Krammes, 82, of Pine Grove, died Fri., Oct. 3 at Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street, Pottsville. Surviving are his wife, Grace V. Berger Krammes; a daughter, Lois E. Krammes; sisters, Lucy, wife of Neal Borkey, and Barbara, wife of John Bertolet, all of Bernville.
Frances C. Winlack, 84, of Pottsville, passed away Fri., Oct. 3 at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Schuylkill Haven. She was the wife of William Winlack. In addition to her husband, she is survived by brothers, Robert Sippel, Maryland, Joseph Sippel, Virginia, and Lawrence Sippel, Friedensburg; sisters, Emma Farr, Pottsville, and Barbara A. Schwartz, Pine Grove, who was her guardian.
Ruth C. Chyke, 89, Tremont, died Tuesday, Oct. 21 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles. She was the last of her immediate family.
Anna Mae Muskitas, 81, of Minersville, died Saturday, Oct. 25 at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg. Surviving is a sister, Alice Ladden, Minersville.
Richard "Dick" Wheeler, 86, of Pine Grove, died Tuesday, Oct. 21 at the VA Hospital, Lebanon. He had resided with his sister, Margery Wheeler Mattox, Pine Grove.
Pauline I. Emerich, 95, of Summit Station, died Monday, Oct. 27 at Schuylkill Medical Center-East Norwegian Street. She was the widow of Charles M. Emerich. Surviving are sons, Lawrence C. Emerich, Schuylkill Haven, and Robert C. Emerich, Summit Station.
