Laurence Anthony Citro, M.D., 66, North Heidelberg Township, died Feb. 24 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township. He was the husband of Lisa Anne (Wenrich) Citro. Laurence is survived by sons, James L. Citro, Haddonfield, N.J., and Jeffrey H. Citro, Santa Barbara, Calif.; grandson, Kyle Vincent Citro, Haddonfield, N.J.

Margaret E. Davis, 91, West Lawn, died Feb. 24 in Reading Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Davis. She was the last of her immediate family.

Jere A. Koons, 69, Newmanstown, died Feb. 24 in Chambersburg Hospital. He was the widower of Linda (Bennetch) Koons. He is survived by children, Andrew Koons, Lebanon; and Rebecca Yordy, Red Lion; brothers, Harry Koons, Fredericksburg; and Lynn Koons, Florida; a sister, Janet, wife of Robert Kleinfelter, Jonestown; and a friend, Margaret Weaver, Lebanon.

Elizabeth Smith, 90, formerly of Blytheville, Ark., died Feb. 25 in Berks Heim, Bern Township. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jim McMiller, and her second husband, Famous Smith. Survivors include children: Sharron Lash (Scott), Reading; Willie McMiller, St. Louis, Mo.; Donna Johnson (Donald), Chicago, Ill.; and Jim McMiller Jr., Kutztown.

Ruth A. Stepp, 91, formerly of Reading, died Feb. 23 in Berks Heim, Bern Township. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford J. Stepp. Surviving are a son, Gregory L. Stepp, Reading;  grandchildren, Shannon L. Stepp and Melanie Pope, both of Idaho; and a sister, Mary (Focht) Spotts, Shillington.

Keith A. Becker Jr., 29, Exeter Township, died Feb. 24 in Akron Township, Lancaster County.  He was a son of Keith A. Becker Sr., Birdsboro, and Deborah A. Horbach, Exeter Township. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children: James, Loughin, Keith III and Erika; paternal grandfather, Robert Becker, Birdsboro, and a maternal grandmother, Nancy Horbach, Birdsboro; siblings: Michael and April, both of Exeter Township, and Chris and Zane, both of Birdsboro.

Gary S. Kleckner, 56, formerly of Laureldale, died in his Midlothian, Va., home on Feb. 24. Gray was the husband of Regina (Hoster) Kleckner and a son of John R. "Jack" Kleckner, Laureldale, and the late Joan (Redcay) Kleckner. Gary is also survived by a son, Daniel, Virginia; his brother, Jan, and wife, Joyce Kleckner, Laureldale; his sister, Susan, wife of Todd Christman, Alsace Township.

George D. Kline Sr., 69, Greenwich Township, died Feb. 25 in his residence. He was the husband of Marlene A. (Witters) Kline. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, George D. Kline Jr., Exeter Township, and daughters: Victoria D. (Kline), wife of Paul Lobban, Perry Township; Suzann C. (Kline), wife of Darwin R. Lathrop, Boise, Idaho; and Catherine T. (Kline), wife of Robert Soellnor, Denver, Pa.; stepsons: Jeffrey A. Clay, Lebanon; Barry L. Clay, Shoemakersville; and Gerald R. Clay, Scranton, and a brother, William Kline, a guest at Kutztown Manor.

James J. Obert, 55, Kenhorst, died Feb. 22 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township. He was the widower of Carol (Gillinger) Obert. He is survived by his  children: James J. Obert Jr., Alaska; Jeffrey D. Obert, North Carolina; and Jennifer D., wife of Keith Garver, Kenhorst; grandchildren, Christian Garver and Shane Garver.

Sharon Warnock, 60, Reading, died Feb. 25 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township. Sharon was a partner of Marie Himmelberger. Also surviving are children, John Putt and Steven Warnock; siblings: Rosemary Seery, and her husband, Jim; Eileen Woodworth; David; and Brian.

Joseph S. Wisniewski, 88, Exeter Township, died Feb. 25 in the Berkshire Center. He was the husband of Mary K. (Krempaski) Wisniewski. He is also survived by sons, Richard A. Wisniewksi, Sinking Spring, and John J. Wisniewski, Limekiln; a sister, Veronica Nadler, Michigan, and grandchildren: John, Mark, Stephanie and Tiffany.

John E. Blessing, 75, Alsace Township, died on Feb. 28 in his residence. He was the husband of Delores E. (Krott) Blessing. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Jonathan P.F. Blessing of Alsace Township; daughters: Delores J. Blessing of Allentown, Darlene M. Schadler of Lyons Station and Pauline A. Blessing of Hamburg.

Henry L. Burden, 77, Upper Bern Township, died Feb. 28 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Maria M. (DeSologuren) Burden.  Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons: Alan H. Burden, Queens, N.Y., Craig L. Burden, Stroudsburg, Darrin H. Burden, Upper Bern Township, and Darryl J. Burden, Limeport, Lehigh County; and daughters: Allison G. (Burden), wife of Kenneth W. Ghorm, Allentown, Christa B. Burden, Upper Bern Township, Carrie L. Burden, Trumbauersville, Bucks County, and Crystal D. Burden, Upper Bern Township.

Richard L. "Doc" Feeney, 80, Reading, died Feb. 27 at his residence. He was the husband of Ann L. (Whitehead) LeVan-Feeney, Reading. He was predeceased by his first wife, Marilyn J. (McQuaite) Feeney. Richard is survived by a daughter, Mary M., wife of Scott Boyer, of Pittsburgh; sons, John J. Feeney, of Plantation, Fla., and Timothy S. Feeney, of Exeter Township; grandchildren: Robert, Brittanny, Ryan, Nicholas, Lexi and Meredith.

Harriet M. Focht, 93, Alsace Township, died Feb. 27 in St. Joseph Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl K. Focht. She is survived by her sons, Bevin Focht, Alsace Township, and Darryl E. Focht, Annville.

Mary R. (Keim) Hunter, 97, died Feb. 28 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She resided at Mifflin Court. She was the widow of Frederick L. Hunter.

Ruth V. Madeira, 95, Spring Township, died Feb. 26 in ManorCare, Sinking Spring. She was the wife of the late Ralph Madeira. Surviving is a son, Ronald H. Madeira, of Bernville; a daughter, Nancy L., wife of Lee L. Vanino, of West Lawn; and grandchildren: Kim,Theresa, Stacey, Dana and Jason.

Caroline C. Crawley, 74, died Feb. 28 in her Reading residence. She is survived by her children, Joseph R. Giustiniani, Abilene, Texas, and Deborah, wife of James Bayout, Fleetwood; her brother, Edward Crawley, New York; and grandchildren: Michael, Joseph, Stephen and Alex.

Mildred F. Donton, 85, formerly of Reading, died Feb. 27 in the Golden Living Center. She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Lyons and her second husband, Lee G. Donton Sr. She is survived by her stepson, Lee G. Donton Jr.; sisters, Dorothy J. Faust, Douglassville, and Nancy C. Geiss, Mohnton; stepgrandson, Lee Donton III.

Robert L. Dunkel Jr., 68, Rehoboth Beach, Del., and formerly of Stony Creek, died Feb. 5 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Del.

Katherine I. Hohman died Feb. 24, in her residence. Surviving are a son, Joshua of Ephrata; a daughter, Natalie of Reading; brothers: Ron, John, William and Paul Johnson; sister, Jeanette Johnson.

Harry L. Huyett, 89, Reading, died March 1 in his residence. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Rozwilowicz) Huyett. Harry is survived by a daughter, Gale H., wife of Richard Rhoads, of Wyomissing; sons, Barry L. Huyett, of Muhlenberg Township, and Scott H. Huyett, of Reading; a brother, Robert Huyett of Muhlenberg Township.

Mary W. Kunstek, 99, Muhlenberg Township, died Feb. 28 in St. Joseph Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. "Jack" Kunstek. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth A. Kunstek, with whom she resided; and a son, Joseph J. Kunstek, of Muhlenberg Township; grandchildren: Sharon, wife of Dennis Damiani, David Kunstek and Thomas Kunstek.

Richard W. Lombardo Sr., 63, Mt. Penn, died Feb. 27 at Reading Hospital. He is survived by his children, Richard W. Lombardo Jr. and Jackie Orcutt; brother, Rodney G. Lombardo; a grandson, Richard W. Lombardo III, and a granddaughter, Shelby P. Lombardo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Lombardo.

Beatrice A. (Noss) Reppert, 78, died Feb. 28 at ManorCare, West Reading. She is survived by daughters: Beverly (Rothermel), wife of Tim Long, Mertz-town, Brenda (Rothermel), wife of Scott Ray, Sinking Spring, Carol, wife of Robert Smith, Green Lane, and Debbie (Rothermel), wife of Carl Redcay, Boyertown; a son, Bruce Rothermel.

Margaret Harrell Saylor, 88, Reading, died at the Vermont Respite House on Feb. 26. She was the wife of the late John S. Saylor Jr.,  She is survived by her  children: John Saylor, of Grapevine, Texas; Rebecca Brooks and her spouse, Robert Pasco, of Williston, Vt.; Brian Saylor of Mohnton, and Sandra Seaman and her spouse, Mark, of Wyomissing Hills; grandchildren Elizabeth Saylor of New York, N.Y.; Hillary Saylor of Reading; Victoria Brooks of London, England; Stefan Brooks of Washington, D.C., and Zachary and Jaime Seaman of Wyomissing Hills.

Eugene N. Werner, 67, South Heidelberg Township, died Feb. 28 at the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Linda L. (Boyer) Werner. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Gerald Werner, Reinholds; and a sister, Geraldine Swope, Womelsdorf.

Matthew R. Johnson, 29, Reading, died Feb. 27. He was a son of Richard E. Johnson Sr. of Nelsonville, Ohio, and Joyce B. (Sackal) Johnson of Sinking Spring. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a daughter, Kyla Marie Johnson of Warner Robins, Ga.; brothers, Sgt. Richard E. Johnson Jr., serving in the military in Afghanistan, and Robert E. Johnson of Sinking Spring; sisters: Sherry A. Yockey of Marengo, Ohio, Barbara J. Menard of Millville, Mass., Sara E. Gomez of Mt. Penn and Ruth-Anne A. Johnson of Sinking Spring.

Carl C. Kiebach, 66, Robesonia, died March 2 in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Gaye L. (Marsh) Kiebach. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, John C. Kiebach of Lancaster; and daughters, Carol A., wife of Dale A. Banks, of Norwich, Ohio, and Susan M. Schell, fiancee of Herbert Webber, of Rehrersburg; brother, Norman H. Kiebach, of Bernville; grandchildren, Jennifer and Cody Kiebach.

Arthur Kipp Jr., 77, Reading, died March 1 at Reading Hospital.  He was the husband of Carolee (Vath) Kipp. Arthur is survived by a daughter, Melissa E., wife of Stephen Evans, of Muhlenberg Township; sons, Gregory B. Kipp, of Reading, and Rodney M. Kipp, of Muhlenberg Township; a brother, Richard Weik, of Denver.

Gloria F. Koch, 77, Reading, died March 1 at ManorCare in Laureldale. She was the wife of Albert E. Koch. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Rodney A. Koch, Laureldale; a daughter, Alecia M., wife of Michael L. Good, Stony Creek Mills; a brother, Clarke Brossman, Wernersville; sisters, Grace Steffe, Robesonia, and Janet Dissinger, Wernersville.

Donald E. Ohlinger, 81, Reading, died March 2, at Berks Heim, Bern Township. He was the husband of Antoinette (Barbitta) Ohlinger, Reading. Donald is survived by his son, Kirk Ohlinger, of Wyomissing; grandchildren: Nathaniel, Luke and Michael.

Nancy M. Schlessman, 75, Reading, died March 2 in her residence. She is survived by her husband, Clarence G. Schlessman of Reading; children, Kelly Armpriester of Reading and Kevin Schlessman of Reading; sisters: Wauletta, Grace and Rose Marie.

Betty L. Schonour, 85, died at home. Surviving are her daughters, Barbara and Dianne Schonour, both of West Reading.

Daniel Paul Updegrove, 22, Boyertown, died at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. He was the son of Donald P. Jr. and Tammy J. (Heath) Updegrove. Along with his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Nicholas R. Updegrove, of Boyertown, and Adam Agar of Massachusetts; maternal grandmother, Ann S. Heath, and paternal grandfather, Donald P. Updegrove Sr.

Mark A. Chelius, 52, died March 2 in his Spring Township residence. He was the husband of Karen A. (Jowers) Chelius. He is also survived by his stepmother, Cynthia (Szymanski) Trygar, Cumru Township; children: Mark A., Benjamin L. and Mackenzie G., all of Spring Township; siblings: Michael L. Chelius, Spring Township; Jeffery P. Chelius, Spring Township; Maryjo G., wife of Allen Gibson, Cumru Township; LeeAnn, wife of John L. Crits, Gilbertsville; Lori M., wife of Joseph T. Scargle, Wyomissing; and Alecia A. Chelius, Shillington.

Doris L. Jasinski, 78, Wyomissing, died March 2 in the Mifflin Center. She was the wife of John S. Jasinski. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Kent E. DeMoss, Mohnton; her daughter, Kimber L. Connelly, Hershey; and her stepdaughters: Barbara D. DeMoss and Donna R., wife of Joseph Melnic, Middletown; sisters: Ellen Tyre, Wyomissing, and Marian Ravel, Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren: Lauren DeMoss, Christin DeMoss, Heather Connelly, Lindsey Connelly, Bryana Melnic and Jonah Melnic.

Anna Kowalewski, 90, died March 2 in her daughter Diann's Muhlenberg Township home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Kowalewski Sr. Surviving are her daughter, Diann Usner, companion of John Orth, with whom she resided; and her son, Vincent Kowalewski of Muhlenberg Township; grandchildren: Terry and Kristi Usner; Keith Usner; Vincent Kowalewski III; Travis and Megan Kowalewski; and; brother, Anthony Leszczynski of West Lawn; and a sister, Rose, wife of Harry Bernecker, also of West Lawn.

Charles M. Schaeffer, 53, Kutztown, died March 2, in his residence. Surviving are sons Christopher W.; Patrick C.; Joshua A.; Justin A. and Daniel J. Schaeffer, all of Centerport; brothers Wallace G., of Reading; Ricky L., of Kutztown; and Scott A. Schaeffer, of Mertztown; a sister, Karen Weidenhammer and her husband, Scott, of Blandon; and his former wife, Carol A. Schaeffer, of Centerport.

Virginia L. Scullion died March 2 at the Phoebe Berks Healthcare Center, near Reading. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sara and Glenn Johnson of Pittsburgh.

Mary J. Wagner, 77, formerly of Shillington, died March 3 in Berks Heim. Surviving are daughters: Linda L. (Wagner) Gehret of Shillington; Mary Michele (Wagner), wife of Russel B. Rapp Sr., of Wernersville; and Judy I. (Wagner) Beidler of Mohnton; grandchildren: Michele Marie Shifflet, Russel B. Rapp Jr., Steven Michael Gehret, Michael James Beidler and Evan Michael Bulcavage.
