Melody Nadine Bieber, 56, of Shillington, passed away in the Reading Hospital September 9. She is survived by son, Jonathan M. (Stephani) Bieber, and granddaughter, Emma, of Mohnton; mother, Nancy J. Bieber of Shillington; brother, Karl R. (Anna) Bieber of Exeter Twp.; and sister, Brenda (Kevin) Gordon of Palatine, IL.
Maxine J. “Mickey” (Delp) Blatt, 83, of Ontelaunee Twp., passed away September 15 in her residence. She was the widow of Robert W. Blatt. Survivingare son, Robert R. Blatt of Ontelaunee Twp.; and brother, Russell C. (Nancy) Delp of Blandon.
Deborah Ann Bourgeois, 61, passed away September 17 in Penn State Health St. Joseph. She was predeceased by her life partner, Dave Sheeder. Deborah is survived by son, Paul J. Bird (Juana Verdu); grandson, Jordan Segis; and brothers, Charles W. Bourgeois and Paul Bourgeois.
William C. “Bill” Boyd, 83, of Bernville, passed away September 19 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the widower of Joan (Schell) Boyd. Surviving are children, William L. Boyd of Donaldson, Schuylkill Co., James D. Boyd of Bernville, and Penny (Leonard) Sokolovich of Bernville; grandchildren, Bethany Clark, Andrew Sokolovich, William J., Alyssa and Morgan Boyd and Nicholas Sokolovich; and great-grandchildren, Killian Clark and William J. Boyd II.
Edward D. Boyer, 59, passed away September 20 at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. He was the husband of Cynthia L. (Brumbach) Boyer. He was the son of Betty J. (Spayd) Boyer, of Alsace Twp., and the late Luther L. Boyer, as well as the brother to Steven Boyer, of Pike Twp., and Randy Boyer, of Rockland Twp. Eddie is survived by daughters, Kylene M. Jones of Exeter Twp., and Kaitlyn Boyer (Carlo Pucciarmati) of Bristol Borough, Bucks Co.; grandchildren, Evianna and Trevyn Jones.
Semerian (SB) B. Brown, Jr., 85, of Reading, passed away September 14 at Manor Care, Laureldale. He was the husband of Estella (Valentine) Brown. Also surviving are grandchildren, Tracie, Michael and Ashley.
Dorothy Ann “Aunt Doll” (Boas) Buser, 93, of Shillington, passed away September 15 at the St. Joseph Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony E. Buser. Survived are nephew, Tom Lawlor, with whom she resided, and other nieces and nephews, and their families.
Theresa J. Dowling, 60, of Newmanstown, passed away September 14 in the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of James F. Dowling. Theresa is also survived by daughter, Terri I. Dowling, Shillington; sister, Barbara (Roy) Fuchs, Exeter; nieces and nephews.
June Lynne (Yocom) Greth, 97, formerly of Reading and Shillington, passed away in Hearthstone at Amity September 14. She was the wife of the late Walter I. Greth. Surviving June is granddaughter, Kristin Greth, of Ohio.
Margaret R. Hafer, 85, of Reading, passed away September 17 in the Laurel Center, Hamburg. She was predeceased by her husband, William L. Hafer, Sr. Margaret is survived by daughters, Donna M. Hafer of Sinking Spring, Cynthia L. (Kenneth) Frankhouser of Mohrsville, Pamela A. (Boris) Pikhtovnikoff of Sinking Spring, and Emma Jean (Angell Sr.) Viera of West Lawn; son, William L.
