James E. Smith, 76, passed away February 20 in his home. He was the husband of Allean (Hines) Smith. Also surviving are children, Curtis (Evelyn) Hines, Rodney Smith, William (Betty) Person, Mary (David) Britt, Tammy (Phillip) Britt, Barbara Person and Steven Kelly; brother, William (Sandy) Glasco; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Warren C. Smith, 93, of Brandon, FL, passed away February 23. He is survived by his wife, Olivia; son, Terry (Sharon) Smith; grandchildren, Calene (Adam) Hernandez and Brad (Maria) Smith; and great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Ethan Hernandez.
Joseph Michael Sokol, 83, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away in Manor Care, Laureldale, February 18. He was the husband of Anna V. (Ziolkowski) Sokol. Joseph is also survived by children, Michele Marie Reissmanns, Michael Joseph Sokol, Richard Patrick Sokol, Laurie Ann Ruth, Gregory Joseph Subisak and Andrew Subisak; grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Jeanette Mae (Kline) Speck, 85, of West Reading, passed away February 17 in Schwenksville, PA. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert W. Speck, Sr. Jeanette is survived by children, Susan Louise Barnard of Phoenixville and Herbert W. Speck Jr., husband of Jeanne M. of Schwenksville; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and brother, Van Edward Kline.
Dolores A. Stichter, 81, of Hummelstown, passed away at Country Meadows of Hershey February 23. She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Stichter; children, Joyce (Robert) Kopko of Hummelstown, Richard A. (Cindy) Stichter of Blythewood, SC, Nancy Stichter of Harrisburg, and Anne (Russell) Davidson of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Janel Griffith, Nicole Stichter, Kimberly (Jason) Miller, Kristen Kopko, Erin (Josh) Moore, and Sean Davidson; and great-grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Elizabeth and Myles.
June Helen (Limpis) Sweitzer, 90, of Mount Penn, passed away in Mifflin Center February 18. She was the wife of the late Wilbur F. Sweitzer. Surviving are daughters, Cecelia A. Hannahoe of Bernville, Rebecca A. (Thomas) Moyer of West Reading and Lillie A. (Henry Jr.) Herb of Leesport; grandchildren, Chad T. (Helen E.) Moyer of West Reading and Stacy L. (Eric J.) Elizabeth H. Vella, 89, of Reading, passed away February 20 at Rittenhouse Senior Living in Reading. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry P. Vella. Survivors include daughter, Karen E. (Alan F.) Ardath (Davidheiser) Yoder, 94, widow of Col. Harry D. Yoder of Reading, formerly of Boyertown, passed away February 23 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Surviving are son, Rev. Keith D. Yoder, husband of Sandra of Conroe, TX; daughter, Barbara Dianne Yoder of Boyertown; granddaughters, Gretta Teets, wife of Jeffrey of Conroe, Texas, and Beth Henry of Wyomissing; and grandson, Hans Yoder of Spring, TX.
Frances S. Zobnowski, 80, of Myerstown, passed away February 22 at St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of John J. Zobnowski. Frances is also survived by sons, John Zobnowski Jr. and Michael Zobnowski; and daughters, Deborah Baker and Barbara Murray.
