Kathleen M. Alsdorf passed away August 15. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Alsdorf. Kathleen is survived by children: Dennis W. (Darlene) Alsdorf of Wyomissing, and Cynthia L. Barbara A. (Cianciosi) Arnold, 78, passed away August 10. She was the wife of the late Robert A. Arnold. She is survived by brother, Thomas A. Cianciosi; niece, Diana L. Richard W. Bagenstose, 89, formerly of Bernville and Hamburg, passed away August 15 in the Orwigsburg Center in Orwigsburg. He was the widower of Mildred Helen (Wolfe) Bagenstose. Surviving are sister, Pauline Bennecoff of Kutztown; niece, Pattie Derr; and nephew, Jere (Bobbye) Bennecoff.

Eleanor E. Beck, 86, of Reading, passed away August 17 in her residence. She was the companion of Allen J. Adams. Also surviving are daughter, Sherry L. Breidegam, Reading; sons, George R. Breidegam, Reading, Kerry L. Breidegam, Mount Penn; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Shirley Kohl Boltz, 80, of Cumru Twp., passed away at home August 14. She was the widow of Wilbur R. Boltz. Shirley is survived by children, Bradley D. Boltz and Suzanne C. Berry, both of Shillington; granddaughters: Jessica Mohn; Kelsey L. and Kylie A. Boltz; great-grandchildren, Cole and Haley Mohn; and sister, Betty G. Bender of Alleghenyville.

Mario Borgatta, 89, of Spring Twp., passed away August 12 in Penn State Health/St. Joseph. He was the husband of Palma (Calabrese) Borgatta. Also surviving are children, Louis (Rosanna) Borgatta of Spring Twp., and Mary J. (Thomas J.) McDonald of Lower Heidelberg Twp.; and grandchildren, Ashley A., Mario S. and Louis F. Wilbur R. “Buddy” Ellis, 79, of Fleetwood, passed away August 9 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the husband of Betty J. (Snyder) Ellis. Also surviving are children, John R. Helen Giles, 89, of Shillington, passed away August 11 in the Reading Hospital. She was the widow of Robert C. Giles. Survivors include daughter, Darlene (Randy) Harding of Wernersville; grandson, Dean (Danielle) Churchill; and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Drew and Jordan.

Veronica C. (Schlatman) Green, 100, passed away August 14 in her Brecknock Twp. residence. She was the widow of Frederick S. Green. Surviving are children, Marilyn E. (Wayne) Tice of Ontario, Canada, Frances V. Clites of York, Angela L. (Thomas L.) Wambaugh of Mohnton, and Erin V. Christy Hatzas, 87, passed away August 10 in his Kenhorst residence. He is survived by nieces, Marian Cheri and Sharon K. Cheri; and nephew, Nickolas J. Hatzas.

Richard D. Heilman, 76, of Reading, passed away August 12 at his residence. He was the husband of Carole A. (Fake) Heilman. Also surviving are sons, David (Janet), and Scott (Cara); grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Richard B. Helfrich, 87, formerly of Pennside, passed away August 9 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the widower of Concetta (Crimaldi) Helfrich. Richard is survived by sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Betty L. High, 90, passed away August 9  at Country Meadows. She was married to the late Robert F. High. Betty is survived by son, Lee E. (Sharon) High; daughter-in-law, Diane M. High; grandchildren, Lauren, Libby and Alex; great-grandchild, Arya; niece, Kathy Raskiewicz; and nephews, George Searfoss, Glenn Searfoss and Dorwin Searfoss.

Deninya M. Holt, 44, formerly of Reading, passed away August 7 in Piedmont Newton Medical Center, Georgia. Leroy P. Keeney, Sr., 82, passed away August 11 in Stone Ridge Town Centre in Myerstown. He was married to the late Ruth Mae (Zimmerman) Keeney. Leroy is survived by siblings, Tyrus M. (Joan) Keeney of Manheim, Jerry A. Keeney of Bernville, Ada A. Miller of Wernersville, and Annie E. (Wilmer) Beinhower of Manheim; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marie A. Zelano, 94, of Muhlenberg Park, passed away August 13 in the Reading Hospital. She was the widow of Phillip G. Zelano. Surviving are daughter, Phyllis M. (James R.)
