Ed Oswald, 79, Laureldale, died Nov. 8 in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Betty Jane “Betsy” (Strubing) Oswald. Paul Sukop von Marko, 74, formerly of Reading, died Nov. 7 in Valrico, Fla. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hedwig von Marko. He is survived by his wife, Inge; his children: Michael, Miami; Sylvia, Los Angeles; Linda, Izu Peninsula, Japan; Stephen, Angel Fire, N.M.; Quintin, Zion Grove; and Erich, Baltimore; grandchildren: Tyler, Maya, Gabrielle, Sage and Forrest Alexander.; stepchildren: Inge, Virginia, Bill and David; and stepgrandchildren: Billy, Heather and Ryan Fine; Christopher and Jeffrey Kale; Morgan and Billy Bechtold; and Chad and Heidi Bechtold.

Juana Arana-Macedo, 69, died Nov. 13 in Spruce Manor, West Reading. She was the wife of Gabino Arana. Surviving are sons: Rodrigo, Meliton, Antonio (Marcos), and Gonzalo Arana, all of Reading; and daughters, Teodocia and Sergia Arana, both of Reading.

Betty B. Auchenbach, 85, Wernersville, formerly of Reading, died  Nov. 15 in Phoebe Berks Health Care Center, Wernersville. She was the widow of Leon C. Auchenbach. Betty is survived by a son, Richard C. Auchenbach, companion of Candice M. Secor, Reading; grandchildren, Michael C. Auchenbach, Reading; and Kate E. Auchenbach, Astoria, N.Y.

Geraldine E. Haggerty, 81, West Lawn, formerly of Reading, died Nov. 15 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township. She was the widow of Warren H. Haggerty Sr. Surviving are sons, Warren H. Haggerty Jr., Reading, and Michael G. Haggerty, West Lawn; grandchildren: Matthew, Elizabeth, Patrick, James and John Haggerty; and a sister, Maureen (McCauley), wife of Robert Artz, Atlanta.

LeRoy R. Hartman, 88, Reading, died Nov. 15 in Berks Heim, Bern Township. LeRoy was the husband of Margaret D. (O'Brien) Hartman. Also surviving are daughters, Joanne M. Sheidy, Boyertown; and Phyllis M. Miller, Bechtelsville; and sons: Larry S. Hartman, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Mark L. Hartman, York; and Thomas J. Hartman, Leesport.

Kenneth Charles Heffner Jr., 78, Reading, died Nov. 14 in Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic. He was the husband of King T. (Tran) Heffner, Reading. Ken is also survived by his former wife, Shirley M. Spotts, West Hazleton; sons: Kenneth E. Heffner, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Emerson K. Heffner, Lower Saucon; Charles E. Heffner, Pasadena, Md.; and Gerald L. Heffner, Sheppton; and grandchildren: Gerald Heffner Jr., Emma H. Stella M. Cooper, 95, formerly of Sinking Spring, died Nov. 17 in Berks Heim, Bern Township. She was the wife of the late Daniel H. Cooper. She is survived by sons, Donald M. Arthur J. Schmoyer, 76, Richmond Township, died Nov. 17 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Surviving is a sister, Verna I. (Schmoyer), wife of Lee I. Seidel, with whom he resided.

Jeanette Irene (Kissinger) Wolf, 66, Millsboro, Del., formerly of Robeson Township, died Nov. 15 in her residence. She was the wife of Donald E. William Robert Harrar, 77, Mohrsville, formerly of Warrington, died Nov. 18 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township. Richard K. Huntzinger, 85, Wernersville, died Nov. 19 in Reading Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth M. (Binkley) Huntzinger. Surviving is a son, Marc D. Huntzinger, Sinking Spring; a sister, Louise, wife of Stanley Rawlinski, Myerstown.

Harold P. Keifrider, 57, Reading, died Nov. 17 at home. He is survived by  daughters: Shannon M., Reading; Sarah, Reading; and Candy, in New York; a brother, Dennis Vogt, in Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Premier Santana and Tsh-Alynn Acevedo.

Chester S. Ziemba, 82, Exeter Township, died Nov. 19 in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Janis M. (Fox) Ziemba. Also surviving are sons, Kevin L. Ziemba, Burnsville, N.C., and Todd W. Ziemba, Exeter Township; a sister, Florence Heinig, Fayetteville, Ark.; grandchildren, Lindsey and Eric.

Ashley Nicole Sherman, 18, Exeter Township, died Nov. 19 in her home. She was the daughter of Audrey Lynn (Getz) and Leonard J. Sherman Jr., both at home. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Seth J. Sherman, at home; paternal grandparents, Loretta R. and Joseph T. Gray, Phoenixville, and Nancy C. Sherman and Leonard J. Lynetta M. Potts, 38, Reading, died  Nov. 18 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township. She was a daughter of Luvena (Potts) Williams, Reading. Also surviving are daughters, Larissa and Lizeina M. Cepeda, and sons, Orlando Cepeda and Justin A. Potts, all of Reading; brothers: Talmus Williams, Reading; Robert Williams, Thorndale; and Tyrone Potts, in South Carolina, and her fiancé, Kim Fleming, Reading.

Bernard J. Morrison, 83, formerly of Reading, died Nov. 15 in Spruce Manor, West Reading.

Sally McGarvey, 85, Exton, died Nov. 17. She was the wife of the late Howard M. McGarvey Jr. She is survived by her children: Kimberly McGarvey and Doug Wray, Shillington; Susan A. McGarvey, Malvern; Trip and Roseann McGarvey, Bozrah, Conn.; Anne and Rob Quivey, Webster, N.Y.; and Sarah and Barrett Parker, Waynesville, Mo.; grandchildren: Joshua Quivey, Erin and Casey McGarvey, Jeffrey Wray, and David, Kaitlyn and Grace Parker.

Adolfo Lugo Jr., 73, Reading, died Nov. 18. He was the husband of Celida (Machdo) Adolfo. He is also survived by   sons: Daniel, Michael and Samuel Lugo, and daughters, Sylvia and Nancy Lugo, all of Reading; a brother, Raymond Lugo, in Puerto Rico, and a sister, Morina Cruz, in Florida.

Alan S. Lepore, 47, Reading, died  Nov. 18 at home. He was a son of Assunta “Susan” (Noble) Lepore, with whom he resided, and the late John F. Lepore Sr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by brothers, John F. Lepore Jr. and Timothy M. Lepore, both of Reading, and a sister, Tina M. (Lepore) Fick, Laureldale.

Harriet W. Leisawitz, 87, Reading, died Nov. 18 in the Highlands at Wyomissing Skilled Care Unit. She was the widow of Dr. Paul A. Leisawitz. She is survived by sons, Alan G. Leisawitz, Cumru Township, and Dr. Elliott G. Leisawitz, Reading; grandsons: Jeffrey Leisawitz; Michael Leisawitz; Scott Leisawitz; Daniel Leisawitz; Benjamin Leisawitz; and Jesse Leisawitz.
